But back to Bookbub, I noticed that one of my favorite novels EVER is on special. THE PILLARS OF THE EARTH by Ken Follett. It's an epic historical that takes place in England in the 1100s. The book starts out with a poor family looking for work, the father having a dream to build a cathedral. From there, it builds into an incredible epic tale to get lost in. I HIGHLY recommend it.

LIFE NEWS: I got my limited edtion Farenheit 451 and it's amazing. It's signed by Neil Gaiman, has a bunch of illustrations and extras is copper gilded on the top and was printed with an old school letterpress machine. I'll probably have to sell it if this plague sticks around longer, but I really hope not.

Huckleberry season is coming soon so I'll be showing off my haul and purple fingers. That also means that Kent and I will have to make more batches of jam and jelly.

Thank you so much to those of you who reviewed my prom horror romance, HIS SCREAM QUEEN. BOOK NEWS: I finished RECLAIMING THE MAGIC! (Brides of Prophecy Book 7) It releases August 28th and is the longest Brides of Prophecy novel to date.  You can preorder it now!   In other book news, I'm working on the 4th and for now, final book in the B Mine series. HER HALLOWEEN PARTY will release close to Halloween and takes place in 1987. This one will be my love letter to my favorite 80s B Movie: Night of the Demons.

Since my book collecting is on hold due to the plague, I was pleased that some of my pre-plague preorders came. Including this awesome edtion of I AM LEGEND.

And now Suntup Editions has an awesome edition of George Orwell's 1984. These sell out quick, so if you're interested, jump on it. I should be getting my limited edtion Farenheit 451 soon and can't wait to show it off. I'll probably have to sell it if this plague sticks around longer, but I really hope not.

As my treat for finishing my 23rd novel, I treated myself to a new fuzzy robe...

BOOK NEWS: I passed the halfway mark on Brides of Prophecy, Book 7: RECLAIMING THE MAGIC. Since it's a second chance romance that spans across almost three thousand years, it's been challenging.  This one comes out in August. It's available for preorder. I'm way behind on that deadline and better catch up so I can get the final B Mine book done in time. I'm also still waiting on my Author copies of HIS SCREAM queen and intending to have my publisher order more copies of the first two books so I can have signed books to sell. LIFE NEWS: Kent and I went to my family's farm and played with my dad's goats and ended up with the biggest morel score we've ever gotten.

We managed to fill up our bags TWICE in two days of hiking and got almost five pounds of morels. The first thing we did was make a stuffed leg of lamb from the Julia Child cookbook. It's a two day process and such a pain, but soooo worth it. We only make it once a year and only with fresh morels.  Then I made two gallons of morel soup, we had a nice meal with it last night and froze the rest to use as sauce for pastas or to eat as soup on a cold winter night.

After all that hiking and cooking, I need to play catch up with writing. Also deciding which book I can put on sale next. In the meantime, Virtual Hugs to you all! -Brooklyn A.
