First teaser of Bite At First Sight Audiobook!

This is gonna be a short update, but I wanted to share a quick snippet of the first chapter of the Bite At First Sight audiobook! My Kofi and Patreon supporters got the full first chapter. I will probably put that out next weekend, though.  We're most likely looking at a mid to late July release! And in the meantime, don't forget about my newly released expanded edition of my 80s horror romance, Her Haunted Heart!

Happy Pride Month! Although the majority of my romances are between cishet characters, here's my evergreen reminder that not everyone in the Brooklynverse is completely straight.  Melding Souls is MM, Leaving the Shadows has two demi leads, To Tempt a Sorcerer has two bisexual disaster leads, and the Highwayman's Bite has a trans supporting character inspired by real life historical figure, Le Chevalier d'Eon.

LIFE NEWS We got a cushion of time to stay in the temporary housing we're in. Which is good because I wanted to find another job before having to move. And I really like the house we're in, though it won't hold a candle to our home. I also have so many things due in July. A painting, a nonfiction piece, and another revision of Graveyard Girls.  Long-term with my writing, I'm torn between trying to double down on trying to get my book sales up enough to be able to support myself, or possibly taking a year or two off. It's hard to think clearly because I'm still very much not okay after the disaster. I probably never will be.  But I have to keep creating. Not just for me, but because I feel like it would dishonor Kent's memory if I quit after all his years of supporting and encouraging me. But it's still so hard. I do have some fun sales and freebies coming up after going 6 months without doing any of that. Bye-bye until then and big virtual hugs! -Brooklyn A.
