LIFE NEWS
We got a cushion of time to stay in the temporary housing we're in. Which is good because I wanted to find another job before having to move. And I really like the house we're in, though it won't hold a candle to our home.
I also have so many things due in July. A painting, a nonfiction piece, and another revision of Graveyard Girls.
Long-term with my writing, I'm torn between trying to double down on trying to get my book sales up enough to be able to support myself, or possibly taking a year or two off.
It's hard to think clearly because I'm still very much not okay after the disaster. I probably never will be.
But I have to keep creating. Not just for me, but because I feel like it would dishonor Kent's memory if I quit after all his years of supporting and encouraging me.
But it's still so hard.
I do have some fun sales and freebies coming up after going 6 months without doing any of that.
Bye-bye until then and big virtual hugs!
