Behold, my new Brides of Prophecy covers! In order to keep up with the market and have readers who enjoy paranormal, urban fantasy, and fantasy romances, I'm revamping (pun intended) the covers to my Brides of Prophecy series. So far I have the first 6 updated in Ebook, but only the first 3 are updated in paperback and so far only on Amazon. I AM getting them updated on Draft2Digital as well, but they move slower. But aren't they pretty?

If you prefer the original first edition covers, there are still some for sale at my store. I also have the 2nd edition Ebook editions there with those covers, so grab them while you can because once they sell out, I'll be getting copies of the new editions in stock as soon as I can. Go HERE to get signed first editions!  HELP ME!  I'm working on the new cover for Reclaiming the Magic and am a little torn on the design. Please reply in the comments to let me know which one looks best!  Disregard the stock photo watermarks. Those are just the samples I'm using until the final decision is made and I'll purchase a license for the image. But hey, it's proof I don't use AI!

Life news: I just had to drop a little over 300 bucks to get the parts I need to replace the AC system on my car. The compressor died last July and she's been sounding angrier and angrier. She's also overdue for a valve adjustment. I probably won't be making videos for either repair because I'm going to need all my concentration as it's been almost twenty years since I've performed either service on a car back in my mechanic days.  It's still thousands of dollars cheaper than buying a new car. Also, I ADORE my Honda Fit!

Writing updates: Horror: I'm still working on my lighthouse horror novel, and will soon have a release date for the women in horror anthology I'm part of. I will also have some kinda big news at the end of the month. Romance:  I'm making great progress on my Brides of Prophecy standalone spinoff, To Wed a Warrior. It's an homage to a certain ship in the Song of Ice and Fire/Game of Thrones fandom and I am having so much fun! Between that, I'm researching for another Scandals With Bite book. I hope everyone had a good Christmas. Mine was bittersweet as Christmas Eve is the day we have dinner at my paternal grandma's house and this was the first time without her. So it was pretty awkward. Still, it was nice to see the rest of that side of the family. Then on Christmas, Kent and I host dinner for my mom's side of the family. On the present front, I scored pretty well. My son got me this tabletop easel to make my paintings and scratchboards easier, Kent got me a 1TB SSD drive to replace the 238 Gig one on my laptop, and I got new office chairs for the whole family. Kent's was totally from the 90s, mine was a discard from the call center hell-job I worked after my divorce, and Micah's was a Staples special that the padding literally disintegrated in. The picture is of Micah's chair because Shadowpaw was sitting on it, looking cute. But mine's identical, only all black.

Update on Redeeming the Angel signed paperbacks I am STILL waiting on Amazon to print them. GRRRRR. But there are a few spots open on the waiting list if you want to buy a signed copy! You can grab Conjuring Destiny FREE on Amazon Apple Kobo Google Play Barnes & Noble Smashwords or Direct from my store!  Although it's book 3 in my Brides of Prophecy series, Conjuring Destiny can be read as a standalone. Most of the books can be, to be honest. Also, the Witchy Bookworms promo didn't give a medium-spice option, so it says there's mild spice when it's a little bit spicier than mild, but definitely not super spicy.  Brides of Prophecy is like my Dark Tower series. All of my books, from my heavy metal romances, historical romances, and horror romances connect to it in one way or another. Other News: I'll be sending the rest of One Bite Per Night to my narrator to my narrator next week. She should have it done mid to late August. And it will be available through the other retailers in September. If you want the audiobook the moment it's done, you can preorder it at my store!

Goth Plant update.  My Back in Black Stonecrop went into shock and wilted a bit after the thief clipped it during our week-long heatwave. But it bounced back fast and is now throwing out new shoots! Suck it, weird plant thief! I can't wait until it turns purple like the one behind it. Alas, being sick and lack of dayjob work has killed most of the gardening plans I had for this summer.

Next week, I'm participating in a fun Kobo Plus feature. Seriously, Kobo Plus is awesome and so much better than KU. New Brides Of Prophecy Covers, To Tempt A Sorcerer now on KU, and check out my goth plants!

Behold! My new covers for the first 6 books in my Brides of Prophecy series! I still need to redo the cover for Reclaiming the Magic, but I'm going to leave books 8 and 9 alone for a little bit since they're still relatively new and I like them. I also need to get started on the cover...and title for Book 10. Life events--including my keyboard dying and having to relearn how to type on a USB one--is pushing back the release until early Fall.  More book news: My grumpy sunshine Romantasy novel, To Tempt a Sorcerer is on KU. I really hate the whole exclusive to Amazon thing, but I know a lot of you are KU readers, so I decided to make this one available there. I may do the same with the other Brides of Prophecy spinoffs as those come along.

Audiobook News: I have an update on One Bite Per Night that I'll be announcing to my KoFi supporters tomorrow. A Note on my Thankfulness: Things have been tough for me on multiple fronts, and I just need to express my gratitude to so many people. My car battery died right when my finances have been bad, and one of you angels bought me a new one! I'd thought I could at least make it to Xmas with my jumper box, but nope. It died on the way to the auto parts store to pick up the new one. So if not for you, dear reader, my family could have been without a car. Also, a kind reader donated to my audiobook fund. (All audiobook fund donations are set aside in a different account because I vow to only use those funds for what my kind donors are paying for.) And, as mentioned last newsletter I'm even in talks with an audio narrator who might be able to offer a payment plan. I also decided that it's past time for me to spill the beans on which books I'm getting rights back to my KoFi  page. I'll probably drop that news next Friday.  Finally, when I was feeling despondent and down about my writing, so many of you came forward with such kind words and encouragement. I LITERALLY couldn't write these books without your support!  Horror News: I'm about 70% done with my coming of age horror, The Graveyard Girls. I'm hoping to have the rough draft done early January, then have it polished up for my agent by February. I haven't dipped my toes into the traditional publishing world in over a decade, so I am nervous as hell!  Life News: I'm getting the house prepped to host a big family Christmas dinner. My grandma pays for the ingredients, and then Kent and I do the cooking and serving. It's hectic, but since the loss of my cousin earlier this year, it's important for the family to be together as much as we can. We are also NOT putting up a tree this year because our new cat, Mischief, hasn't grown out of being an absolute terror, and would decimate our tree, lol It all works out in the end since we're going lowkey on presents due to budgetary concerns. I wouldn't wish sudden house AND car repairs at the same time on anyone! Next newsletter, I'll show off my presents AND there's going to be another Stuff Your EReader event!
