Happy Pride Month! Although the majority of my romances are between cishet characters, here's my evergreen reminder that not everyone in the Brooklynverse is completely straight.  Melding Souls is MM, Leaving the Shadows has two demi leads, To Tempt a Sorcerer has two bisexual disaster leads, and The Highwayman's Bite has a trans supporting character inspired by real life historical figure, Le Chevalier d'Eon. LIFE NEWS It's been 6 months since I lost my partner and my home. (If you're new here, you can read about that tragedy HERE) I'm still having more bad days than good, but with therapy, I am working on unfucking my sleep schedule. It is still hard to go to bed without Kent and I still have flashbacks of the tree coming down on top of us. Waking up is still hard because, due to my PTSD, I usually wake up screaming inside. Now it is worse because every day I wake up to a world where he is gone. But I'm playing with productivity apps. I can't do Finch because there's no PC version and I suck at doing things on phones. So the one I'm using is called Habitica. It's like an 8 bit PC game. It's kinda fun.  So on top of my sleep schedule, I'm trying to get better at self care. I'm trying to make that bit fun with going back to my old goth roots.  I also got my resume done and am starting to apply for remote jobs, so hopefully my son and I can afford a place before our coverage for temporary housing runs out.  Another cool thing is getting back into art. I'm doing a really cool painting for a secret project a publisher is working on.  Horror News I'm also going to be reading my short horror story, "The Waitress" on Story Hour on the 24th. Since I don't know what happened to Kent's Yeti Mic, I got one of those little fuzzy clip ons. I hope it will work okay. This will also be my first time doing a reading of my work and I do not have the best voice. So I'm pretty scared. Go HERE to get it directly IMPORTANT UPDATE ON TO WED A WARRIOR I hate to do this, as this also happened with Redeeming the Angel, but I had to postpone the release date of To Wed a Warrior to December 12th. On the bright side, the reason is that the book is going to be longer than anticipated and I am not nearly as far behind on that one as I was with the 10th Brides of Prophecy novel.

However, this lesson has taught me that November and December releases are NOT for me. Therefore, unless a miracle happens, Brides of Prophecy 11, won't be be coming out in 2026. On the bright side, I will have a few awesome releases of other stuff, and more audio releases. Life News: Halloween was fantastic. My Lady in the Radiator costume turned out well. Though I made a few errors with the prosthetic, it was still fun. The grayscale body paint was a pain to remove, lol!

I didn't get pictures of my graveyard setup, but I made a lot of videos. Kent got hold of professional stage lights for almost nothing, which worked wonders in making my mostly Dollar Store and thrift store decorations pop. I have a whole playlist, but here's one of the best vids that Kent took:
