HORROR NEWS!  I was invited to take part in the House of Haunts anthology. The anthology focuses on a fictional haunted house and each author has a story for each room. I was assigned the garage, which is SO ME. I just signed the contract for my story, "My Fairlady," and you'll be able to read it on October 13th!

And, finally, I've been promising you all a pasta salad recipe, so here it is!  1 package radiatore pasta (or shells, rotini, or penne) 1 1/2 cup mayonnaise 1/2 cup ranch dressing 1 tablespoon dill weed 1 tablespoon parsley 1 tablespoon garlic powder 2 tablespoons parmesan 1 diced cucumber 1 diced tomato Salt and pepper to taste Cook pasta while mixing all other ingredients in a large bowl. Strain pasta under cold water to cool down. Mix pasta in the bowl Season with more herbs, ranch, or mayo as desired. Chill for at least an hour. Sprinkle with more parmesan before serving. I don't have a pic, so here's a lazy kitty.

Those of you who've been reading my books for a while know that they come up in almost every book.  Saturday, July 15, 2023 I just finished my 27th novel! Plus, Sale and Freebie! I also did some art and went to the Gorge. We're hoping to get out one more time because in sort of happy news, I WAS right about the mystery shaking and pulling in my car being rubber separating on the inside of the tire opposite from the one that had the blowout. I sold some huckleberrries to pay for the tire.  That means those front tires went within 200 miles of each other. The former mechanic in me still has it! I was afraid my first instinct was wrong and I either had something disastrous in my suspension (she does need bushings) or that my brake caliper piston was going out. I do still need to replace my brakes, but thankfully not immediately, just soon.  Writing News: Speaking of car stuff, I have some fun news for my horror readers.
