OMG! My art is in a book! Plus adventures in crafting.

A while back, I was able to announce that I'd gotten to do a scratchboard art piece for Carrie's Legacy, a limited edition book by Lividian Publication on the impact of Stephen King's Carrie on authors and artists. Just yesterday, the book arrived and I am still in awe that I'm in there!

I also had some fine art prints made of my piece. There are still a couple left in my store!

Crafting adventures! I've been wanting to get into slipcase making for awhile. My first goal was to make a case for my signed first edition of Stephen King's Firestarter. My friend loaned me a cool cutting tool, my boyfriend 3D printed me these thingies that hold the corners in place during the gluing process. But I ended up making my measurements wrong and the case was too big for Firestarter. So I ended up with a case for The Institute. I am making my second attempt at cutting boards for Firestarter today.

I also got cat molds and made some more cat candles and more skull candles.

The fine art prints of the scratchboard I did for Carrie's Legacy are here! I only have a limited quantity left. They're 8X10 just like the original piece, professionally scanned at the highest resolution and Giclee printed on fine art paper, so they are FANCY. Cost is 35 plus shipping. Life News: Right after my colonoscopy, I ended up getting Covid for the first time, which totally sucked. I kept up with my shots and I already stay isolated with my agoraphobic hermit lifestyle, so it was really an unpleasant surprise. I'm still not 100%  Still, I got most of my January goals accomplished, like completing my outline for my next horror novel.  I already got started with my February goals. I'm almost done with the outline for my next Brides of Prophecy book! I REALLY want to start getting Bite at First Sight in audio, but finances aren't great. I do have my audiobook crowdfund, and have expanded my online store.

I'm also going to do a scratchboard for myself, which will be fun. I can't wait to try out the tabletop easel I got for Christmas.
