COVER REVEAL for Brides of Prophecy 6 and Turkey Recipe!

Surprise, surprise!
Here's the cover of the 6th Brides of Prophecy novel!
Here's the blurb:
They’re from two different worlds….
For months, Beau Thompson, bass player of Rage of Angels and novice mage, has been fighting a secret crush on Artavian Calla, healer sorcerer, and apprentice to the King of Aisthanesthai.
But with a big war coming and a tenuous alliance between sorcerers and vampires to be negotiated, there’s little time to pursue love. Or maybe Beau’s just scared, since he’s only had brief flings.
Yet each completes the other.
As magic returns to Earth and Rage of Angels are recruiting vampires to fight an evil would-be god, the sorcerer and the rock star spend more time exploring their attraction. And together, Beau and Artavian might have the power to save their friends, and maybe both of their worlds, from a returning enemy.

Release date is February 18th!!
Not only that, but it's also already on Preorder!
You can preorder Melding Souls on
This is the first m/m romance I'll have written. I never intended on writing a m/m romance, until I wrote Wrenching Fate and knew that one day Beau would find his love.
I hope to have a teaser for you in early December, but for now, here's a recipe for TURKEY!!!
Required Materials:
Roasting Pan
Aluminum Foil
Turkey Baster
Meat Thermometer

Ingredients:
1: 15-20lb turkey (If larger may need to increase other ingredients)
1-2 stalks celery
1 large orange
1 onion (I prefer sweet)
1/2 to 1 clove of garlic
1 big carrot or 8-10 baby carrots
1 1/2 to 3/4 bottle of ginger ale (2 liter)
1 can chicken broth
1 bay leaf
2 tbs. thyme
2 tbs. parsley
2 tbs. sage
1 tbs. lemon pepper
1 tbs. Seasoned Salt (Johnny's or Lawry's is best!)

(I know it's a long list, but it's totally worth it!)
Okay, here we go.

Preheat oven to 350
Mix thyme, sage, parsley, lemon pepper, and seasoning salt in a small bowl
Chop the onion, carrot, and celery
Peel the garlic and split into segments
Peel the orange and split into segments

Line the roasting pan with enough foil to cover the turkey.
Remove the neck and giblets from turkey
Rub the herb mixture inside both neck and rear cavities of the turkey and a little on the outside.
Stuff turkey with chopped onion, carrot, celery, garlic, orange segments, and bay leaf.
Place turkey in roasting pan.
Pour all chicken broth and half required ginger ale into the cavity.
Truss the turkey and pour more ginger ale over bird and around it.

Make a foil tent over the bird, but try not to have the foil touch it.
Baste periodically and remove foil to allow turkey to brown 45 min to 1 hr before done.
Turkey is done when thermometer inserted into thickest part of the thigh reads 180 degrees.

Here is estimated cooking time by weight:
10-15 lbs = 3 3/4 -4 1/2 hrs. 15-22lbs = 4 1/2- 5 hrs
22-24lbs = 5- 5 1/2 hrs. 24-29lbs = 5 1/2- 6 1/4 hrs

When turkey is done, remove from oven, cover, and let stand 10- 15 min before carving. This allows the juices to resettle.

Bonus Gravy Recipe:
Ingredients: (To taste and as needed)
Turkey drippings/ marinade
Milk
Cornstarch
Parsley
Thyme
Sage
Salt (if needed)
Black Pepper

Using the turkey baster, remove as much liquid from turkey as you need and heat it to boiling in a medium saucepan
Mix cornstarch with milk and add to boiling turkey drippings,
Slowly lower the heat and blend with a whisk.
thicken to desired texture and in the meantime season to taste with herbs and pepper. Try not to burn your tongue!

Happy Thanksgiving to my US readers, for my out of the US readers, you can still make an excuse to have turkey. ;)

Forbidden Song is available for PreOrder! Here's an Excerpt!

Forbidden Song releases January 11th and this time, you can make sure it gets to your e-reader right away.

You can get it on:

Cliff fought not to glance back at the closed partition door as Klement talked to the roadies about the show’s sound and lights. Christine was being quiet as a mouse, but it was only a matter of time before the others discovered her. A twinge of worry gnawed at his gut. He hoped Klement wouldn’t be too pissed about his stowaway.
His jaw clenched at the childish sentiment. Fuck Klement if he was. The guy was too controlling with how the band worked as it was. Klement wasn’t his father and had no say on his social life. If Klement could have his chick on the bus, Cliff should be able to have one too. Okay, so far Christine didn’t seem interested in being “his chick,” but he hoped that after a time he could persuade her to change her mind. She was like a gift dropped in his lap: beautiful, smart, sympathetic to the trials he had to face in his work. And most of all, she was a challenge, since she wasn’t in his lap.
Not yet.
Of course, maybe that’s where he’d fucked up with Kat. He’d just assumed she’d tumble into his bed like the last ones. Cliff had enjoyed the chase with his first few girlfriends, but as his fame grew, all prospect of pursuit faded. Women lined up to be with him on any terms.
Well, Christine had terms; that was clear. He just needed to find out what they were.
He had a feeling he would enjoy meeting them.
Roderick started to head towards the back of the bus. Shit. They’d only gone about twelve miles. He’d hoped to hold off the big reveal until at least thirty, or until they were out of cell service.
“Hey, Rod,” Cliff said, frantic to distract him. “What did you think of Deity’s set?”
“It was pretty cool,” the drummer said, eyebrows knitting at the abrupt question. “I liked the new song, though I haven’t made my mind up on the percussion.”
Kat elbowed him. “Oh, it was great and you know it. And so romantic of him to write a song based on one of Shana’s books.”
“I suppose.” Rod snickered. “I still can’t believe he ended up with a lady who writes bodice rippers.”
“They are not bodice rippers!” Kat shouted, poking Rod in the chest as the roadies laughed. Cliff took a step back. He’d learned really fast that you did not flip Kat shit for her choice of reading material. She may be tiny, but she was fierce.
Kat continued her tirade. “They are historically accurate stories that have a happily-ever-after and depict strong women who get what they want and men who encourage their empowerment. Dante’s smart enough to see that.”
Klement chuckled. “All right, you two. Break it up.”
Kat sighed. “Fine. But he really should read a romance novel before knocking them. In fact, I have one in the back that he’d—”
Cliff intervened. “Give it up, Kat. Rod doesn’t read books period.”
“I do too. I just don’t read fiction,” Rod retorted, rubbing his wrist. “Anyway, my hand is killing me. I wanna grab my compression sleeve.”
Cliff stepped in front of the door. “Why don’t we smoke a bowl first?”
“Yeah,” chimed in Steve, the light tech.
Rod paused. “Do you have any this time, or are you intending on begging from Klem’s stash again?”
“I have my own,” Cliff said, trying not to sound defensive, knowing Christine could hear. He didn’t want her to think he was a mooch. “And I don’t beg off of him. He’s just generous.”
“I have my own too,” said Greg, the sound engineer. “Got some sticky chronic from the weed store. God, I love Washington.”
Cliff gave Rod a pointed look and silently blessed the roadie.
They all settled on the bench seats and around the little kitchen table, but as Cliff loaded a bowl, taking as much time as possible, he forgot a vital fact: Kat didn’t smoke weed.
He froze with the lighter in his hand as she got up from the bench seat and headed to the partition door. “Kat, wait.”
She stopped and turned with a quizzical look. “What? I’m just grabbing my laptop.”
“I…um…” He scrambled for a distraction to keep her up front, but nothing came.
She shook her head and opened the door. Then gasped.
Cliff flinched.
“What are you doing back here?” Kat demanded.
“Cliff said I could tag along.” Christine’s voice was shaky and defensive. “You know, for my research paper.”
Klement bolted up from his seat looking furious. He met Kat in the doorway and glared in Christine’s direction. “God damn it, Chrissy!”
Chrissy? Cliff frowned. Did Klement know her already?
Klement rounded on Cliff, his eyes narrowed to slits. “Quinn is going to fucking kill you.” He closed his eyes and brushed his hand over his face as if the world were ending. “He’s going to kill all of us.”
Cliff blinked, confused. He’d only had two beers and no hit off the pipe yet. “What does Quinn have to do with Christine being on the road with us?”
Klement’s words came like a punch in the stomach. “She’s his baby sister.”

Cover Reveal and PreOrder for UNLEASHING DESIRE!

I'm delighted to present to you the cover for Unleashing Desire!

What do you think? I'm pleased with it because not only did I find a stock photo of a REAL ruined castle in Romania, but I also found stock with models that look exactly like the characters! Thanks so much, Grigoris Drakakis and Angel!

I'm very excited about this book. It's the much anticipated 4th volume in my Brides of Prophecy series.

And here's the blurb:

A setup so perfect… it might just be fate.

Radu Nicolae has spent centuries in a guilt-induced hibernation beneath the ruins of his family castle. The only time he awakens is to feast on the occasional vampire hunter. When Lillian Holmes invades his lair, trying to kill him for a crime he did not commit, he decides it is time to rejoin the world. As he feeds on the inept, but delectable hunter and sees her memories, he realizes that he is being used as a weapon to murder her. Radu does not like being used.

Agent Lillian Holmes, of the Abnormal Investigation Unit, is sent on a mission to kill the vampire who murdered her father. But when she tries to stake Radu, he awakens. When his fangs sink into her throat, she thinks she’s a goner. To her surprise, she wakes up a prisoner. Furthermore, Radu did not kill her father. The AIU killed Joe Holmes and sent Lillian to Radu to die.

Together, they strike a bargain: Lillian will help Radu travel to the United States to reunite with his long lost twin brother. In return, he will help her take down the men who killed her father. As their relationship deepens on their journey, so does the danger. Not only must they keep government agents from finding out that Lillian is alive, but she also has a secret that will rock the foundations of the vampire world.

This book picks up on several loose threads from previous books. Radu Nicolae is the missing twin brother of the vampire, Razvan Nicolae.

As for the heroine, I hope her last name and job description rings a bell. Lillian is the daughter of Agent Joe Holmes, a scientist with the Abnormal Investigation Unit who experimented on Akasha in Wrenching Fate and escaped with Akasha's eggs and Silas's blood at the end of the book.

We'll find out what he did with those in this book.

Get ready for a wild ride!

Unleashing Desire is available for pre-order on Amazon.
And it will be up with the other etailers shortly. :D

I hope everyone's having a great week!

Scandals With Bite Book 4 release date! And pre order is LIVE!

Ladies and gentlemen, we HAVE a release date. His Ruthless Bite, (Scandal with Bite Book 4), will be released on April 15th!

Here's the rough blurb:

"The Lord Vampire of Rochester doesn’t do a favor without a price. And now it’s time to collect.

Gavin Drake, Baron of Darkwood is being pestered by nosy neighbors and matchmaking mothers of the mortal nobility. To escape their scrutiny, he concludes that it’s time to take a wife. After witnessing the young vampire Lenore’s loyalty to the Lord of London, he decides she is sufficient for the role.

After surviving abuse from rogue vampires, Lenore Graves wants to help other women recover from their inner wounds. She befriends mesmerist John Elliotson and uses her vampire powers to aid him with his patients. When the Lord of London declares that Lenore is the price the Lord of Rochester demands for aiding him in battle, she is terrified. Will all of her hard work be destroyed by Ruthless Rochester? Yet she can’t suppress stirrings of desire at the memory of their potent encounter.

After Gavin assures her that the marriage will be in name only, Lenore reluctantly accepts Gavin’s proposal. Determined to continue her work, she invites John Elliotson to Rochester. As they help women recover from traumas, Lenore explores her own inner turmoil and examines her attraction to her husband.

Gavin realizes his marriage is a mistake. His new baroness’s involvement with the mesmerist is dangerous. He knows he should put a stop to Lenore’s antics— yet her tender heart is warming his own and tempting him to make her his bride in truth.

As Lenore and Gavin’s relationship blossoms, the leader of a gang of rogue vampires embarks on a quest for vengeance against Gavin… using Lenore as his key."

Gearing up for Conjuring Destiny!

Huh, for some reason Blogger only let me put this picture up REALLY big or super tiny. Sorry about that.

Anyway, Holy Wow, Conjuring Destiny comes out in only 8 days.

It's available for pre-order on
Amazon

And getting it ready has been a wild ride. Since this is the most complex book I've ever written, the revision process was equally more involved. Plus, I had to get advance review copies ready on the 1st.

Ranting about that process could take pages, so instead we'll just say that it involved being stuck at the computer for 16 hours for several days.

After that, I had some formatting hell.

But I got the ARCs off to reviewers.

...And then my hard drive died and I had to get a new laptop. Thanks to getting the ARCs out, I was able to recover the book and reformat it.

This last week was dedicated to getting it ready for print and sending it off to the retailers.

Whew!

Now it's just fun stuff like preparing for my virtual release party and book tour.

If you want to sign up for the promo blast and enter to win a $25 gift card, go here: http://goo.gl/forms/TMLMhvbwpL

And if you want to be part of the tour and feature the book, go here: http://www.signupgenius.com/go/20F094FADAB2EA6FF2-conjuring

I am really excited, and, I admit, terrified. Although so far the advance reviews have been positive, I'm still worried about how this one will be received.

For one thing, it's different than the first 2 books in the series, and it's definitely more fantasy than urban fantasy.

For another, fantasy is HARD! I had to build a whole new world and sets of different people and cultures. So I hope I didn't suck at it.

Also, my heroine, Xochitl, is really weird. She was definitely the most challenging character to write.

So, I'm crossing my fingers that you all like this one.

Now I'm going to get back to writing. Hearts of Metal, book 3 and Scandals with Bite, Book 4 need attention.

Big News For BRIDES OF PROPHECY fans!

Hello, everyone!

Sorry I've been away for so long. Aside from some freelance editing, work on my second metal romance, I've also been plugging away at the much awaited third book in my BRIDES OF PROPHECY series.

I even came up with a title.

I also finally got the cover how I want it.

BEHOLD!!!

But most importantly, I've accomplished sufficient progress to be able to place it on pre-order.

So here is the blurb and here are the pre-order link: Alas, Nook is a butt and won't let me set up a pre-order, but here's the Kindle link for now: So Pre-order it now!

and I'll also be getting it up there for Kobo and Apple in a day or two.

I am very excited about this book. This is where the series takes a stranger turn. It has been the most complex and challenging thing I've ever written.

There is also awesome news around the corner for my upcoming heavy metal romance series, so stay tuned!
