Happy Release to To Wed a Warrior, Sales and Freebies, and a Big Giveaway!

<

HAPPY RELEASE TO MY ROMANTASY, TO WED A WARRIOR! Even though To Wed a Warrior came out on Friday, a couple retailers didn't update my files, and I also wanted to wait until the paperback was out before officially celebrating. Not to mention my utter and complete exhaustion from so many things going wrong for me this week. All that said, I AM super excited to have this book out for the world finally. As I cover in my author's note, I have been wanting to write a Sansa Stark and Sandor Clegane homage book ever since reading and watching Game of Thrones. And I already had the set up to do it with the country of Wurrakia in my Brides of Prophecy series.  So there is more magic, my Sansa homage is a full-grown adult, there isn't a big age gap, and the characters get a happy ending. Pick your preferred retailer HERE!  Or, if you want a signed paperback, I'm taking orders at my direct store. Right now it's set up for US only, but if you live out of the US, reach out to me on my website contact form, or on social media and I can figure out shipping cost.  I highly recommend going to my one of my shops for ebooks and paperbacks because... My Kofi store is having a 50% off sale on all books! Use coupon code MYTBR Go HERE to shop! Or, over at Curios, my entire Brides of Prophecy and Scandals With Bite series is also 50% off on Curios in both audio and Ebook.

Smashwords is having its end of year sale!  This time, we authors got to set our prices for individual books, so I was able to put a bigger discount on some titles.  Go HERE to browse my books as well as others!

Check out Kobo's First in Series Freebies! My rockstar romance, Kissing Vicious, is FREE over at Kobo's First in Series promo! Get it and other freebies HERE!

Other news: I talked to my wonderful narrator for my Scandals With Bite series and we're going to get to work on adapting book 3, Bite At First Sight in late February, so hopefully we can release it in Summer or Fall of 2026 In Horror news, the next Final Couples book will release in May 2026. I will have a cover reveal soon!  And hopefully I'll have a release date for the audiobook version of His Final Girl soon too. All I know now is that it's currently in production.  In the meantime, I've found narrators that I'd like for my Brides of Prophecy series, but due to budget and to see how we work together, we're going to start with my prequel short, Tesemini, that is free with my newsletter. If you haven't read it yet, go subscribe HERE!  I will also be releasing my killer waitress story from Pretend You Don't See Her in the fall. Which is around when the next HOH anthology, Highway of Haunts comes out.  As for Brides of Prophecy 11, that one probably won't be out until 2027 because the complexity of the world has made them a little harder to write. I want to ensure that there's no more 11th hour scrambling because the book got bigger than I'd planned and I'm not too exhausted to celebrate it.  I am NEVER going to do a book release this time of year again, that's for sure! As my therapist has declared, "October is Brooklyn's self-care month." And then because I have a huge family and Kent and I host both Thanksgiving and Xmas dinners at our house, that really cuts into my writing time. Although I have so many projects to work on, I am going to do some self care. Read some books, finish my David Lynch scratchboard portrait, and watch the new Stranger Things and other shows and movies I missed while chained to my desk.  Bye-bye until next time! -Brooklyn A. To Wed a Warrior is up for Preorder, and I'm gonna have another book signing!

To Wed A Warrior is up for Preorder! Here's the description: A noble-born healer is forced to marry the most feared warrior in the realm. Can their union save their kingdom from political upheaval? In a kingdom ruled by knights and lords, where only women are permitted to use magic, Lady Kestrel Goshawk's life was perfect. She'd achieved the rank of a blue-robed healer and is engaged to the handsome heir to the Lord Paramount of Wurrakia. But everything comes crashing down when her father is arrested and executed for treason. Even though Kestrel was judged innocent, she remains a prisoner. Her former suitor reveals himself to be a cruel monster and enlists a terrifying, scarred warrior known as The Wolf to torment her. Lycus Dane, Enforcer to the Lord Paramount, is irritated with being used to torment an innocent woman. When forced to continue that torture by marrying Kestrel, he's infuriated. Being made to spend the rest of his life with someone who could never love him will be just as much a punishment for him as it is for her. No longer a sheltered innocent, Kestrel sees all the hypocrisy and machinations hidden under the gilded veneer of the noble court. She also realizes that the Wolf's bark is worse than his bite. Her vow to never love again crumbles as she longs to heal the wounds he bears on the inside. Lycus, in turn finds his inner beast calmed in her embrace. He would tear down the entire kingdom, stone by stone to keep her safe. When a political assassination throws the kingdom into civil war, Kestrel and Lycus must trust each other and navigate a realm of blood and betrayal in order to save their home. Can a marriage intended as a punishment become their salvation? To Wed a Warrior is a sword and sorcery adventure with a Beauty and the Beast style romance.
