HAPPY RELEASE TO MY ROMANTASY, TO WED A WARRIOR!

Even though To Wed a Warrior came out on Friday, a couple retailers didn't update my files, and I also wanted to wait until the paperback was out before officially celebrating. Not to mention my utter and complete exhaustion from so many things going wrong for me this week.

All that said, I AM super excited to have this book out for the world finally. As I cover in my author's note, I have been wanting to write a Sansa Stark and Sandor Clegane homage book ever since reading and watching Game of Thrones. And I already had the set up to do it with the country of Wurrakia in my Brides of Prophecy series.

So there is more magic, my Sansa homage is a full-grown adult, there isn't a big age gap, and the characters get a happy ending.

I talked to my wonderful narrator for my Scandals With Bite series and we're going to get to work on adapting book 3, Bite At First Sight in late February, so hopefully we can release it in Summer or Fall of 2026

In Horror news, the next Final Couples book will release in May 2026. I will have a cover reveal soon!

And hopefully I'll have a release date for the audiobook version of His Final Girl soon too. All I know now is that it's currently in production.

In the meantime, I've found narrators that I'd like for my Brides of Prophecy series, but due to budget and to see how we work together, we're going to start with my prequel short, Tesemini, that is free with my newsletter. If you haven't read it yet, go subscribe HERE!

I will also be releasing my killer waitress story from Pretend You Don't See Her in the fall. Which is around when the next HOH anthology, Highway of Haunts comes out.

As for Brides of Prophecy 11, that one probably won't be out until 2027 because the complexity of the world has made them a little harder to write. I want to ensure that there's no more 11th hour scrambling because the book got bigger than I'd planned and I'm not too exhausted to celebrate it.

I am NEVER going to do a book release this time of year again, that's for sure! As my therapist has declared, "October is Brooklyn's self-care month." And then because I have a huge family and Kent and I host both Thanksgiving and Xmas dinners at our house, that really cuts into my writing time.

Although I have so many projects to work on, I am going to do some self care. Read some books, finish my David Lynch scratchboard portrait, and watch the new Stranger Things and other shows and movies I missed while chained to my desk.
