Cover Reveal and Early Access to "The Boy From Limbo!"

Behold! The cover of my short story from the Hospital of Haunts anthology, The Boy From Limbo!

Here's the plot summary:

In a former hospital wing turned daycare, the ghost of a boy communicates to the kids through a deactivated call button.

Ten-year-old Bree Thorne is unhappy to spend her summer vacation at the Lychhurst Hospital Daycare that her mother runs. Things get better when she befriends two more kids her age stuck in the same boat. And they get interesting when they hear the voice of a little boy talking to them from the inactive call button in the TV room.

As Bree and her friends communicate with the boy, they research the horrible history of the hospital wing before it became a daycare. When boy's tragic history is uncovered, the daycare kids must choose whether to set the ghost free, or to leave him trapped in Limbo.

This story was a blast to write because it was inspired by the summer vacations I had to spend at the hospital daycare that my mom and grandma ran.

I've got a good start on my Halloween decorating. I've been featuring each day's progress on my youtube channel

But check out how far I got!

My event at the Night Market was pretty successful. I sold some books, more trippy bubble toys, and some candles.

With my social anxiety and agoraphobia, it's really hard for me to do events, so I'm proud of myself that I managed to do two this year.

Another difficulty is that Coeur d'Alene and Spokane don't have many cons for horror or romance authors and artists. So most of the time I've had to travel, which has been impossible with my current finances. Still, I'm hoping to get my car road trip worthy again so I can attend things in Western Washington, Oregon, and maybe even Nevada.

Next week, I'll show off my Halloween decorating progress, and the progress on this year's Halloween costume. I'm also hoping to have an update on the audio auditions Fright Night Audio had for His Final Girl.
