I've seen reviews on books by Christian authors (predominantly) whose reviewers decided it wasn't "something they would read"... Must we been so critical that we can't look at a story/book in an unbiased fashion--ignoring personal viewpoints--and decided whether a book has merit. I just read a book that included child abuse...it was not an easy read, but the author did a great job...my review showed that as opposed to my personal concern about those that have been abused... I don't know why people bash authors, perhaps because they feel powerless in their own lives and authors seem so very vulnerable, always out in the open, their work on display.

Next time you feel like bashing someone, go to the gym and take it out on a punching bag. That's what it's there for, not what we are here for.Jean Joachim Bookshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16614059778826802446noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7162552408162747159.post-13247991976357392992011-09-18T10:58:17.332-07:002011-09-18T10:58:17.332-07:00Well said and timely. I even made a specific post about it (with a touch of humor) on my blog.

Dawne PAn Open Bookhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07844845979538255047noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7162552408162747159.post-29203249529173216442011-04-25T22:45:51.868-07:002011-04-25T22:45:51.868-07:00Great post Bennet- very eloquently statedGreat post Bennet- very eloquently statedAn Open Bookhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07844845979538255047noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7162552408162747159.post-55299228158998246422011-04-25T13:02:36.506-07:002011-04-25T13:02:36.506-07:00Thanks again for coming by today, Bennet. :)Thanks again for coming by today, Bennet. :)Brooklyn Annhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11285434689426722832noreply@blogger.com
